I’m Remi Baker

Executive coach, facilitator, and founder of The Third Chapter.

I still coach leaders and facilitate teams, and the two sides of my work feed each other. In both, my job is the same: to make room for the honest conversation and help people act on what they find.

I’m also a Transitional Intelligence (TQ) accredited coach, and Fellow of the RSA (FRSA).

I was raised by a Nigerian mother and an English father. My mother was a nurse who became a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and she showed me you can change course without losing yourself. The wisdom she passed on still guides me:

“One who knows themselves can shape their own path.”

Now in my sixties, I'm not reinventing. I'm bringing it all together. I think of it as becoming an Elder: not an ending, but a deepening. It's an honour to work with women doing the same.

Whether you're approaching fifty or well into your sixties ++, there's a place for you here.

For four decades I've worked with people at thresholds and turning points. I've led in communications, run a business as Managing Director, and spent more than twenty years as an executive coach, facilitator, and CEO of a boutique coaching and organisational culture consultancy.

Then my own midlife arrived, with questions I'd never made time for.

Who am I beyond my career?

What do I want from this part of my life?

How do I bring together everything I've lived and learned?

The Third Chapter grew out of those questions. It's for women at that same point who don't want to become someone new. They want to reclaim who they already are.

The Third Chapter Philosophy:

Five ideas sit underneath everything I do.

Embrace: Value the richness of what you've lived and stay open to what's new.

Legacy: Decide what you want to leave behind and start shaping it now.

Discern: Let your own wisdom decide what fits now.

Empower: Own your story and define success on your terms.

Reflect: Honour where you've been, where you are, and where you're going.
